Clay in his veins.
Fire in his game.
Jorge Robinson Solís grew up in Concordia, in Argentina's Entre Ríos province, learning the game on red clay at the Victoria Park club under coach Martín Labella.
He came through the South American ITF junior circuit before taking his tennis to the United States, where he spent four seasons at Georgia College & State University. By his final spring he was the Bobcats' top-ranked player, while completing a double major in Economics and Finance and collecting ITA Scholar-Athlete honours along the way.
Summers were for the road: Spain, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Germany, Japan and South Korea. Today Jorge is based on the European clay circuit, sharpening his game alongside elite pros and competing on the ATP Challenger Tour.
